Jesse, one our regulars was in to pick up his bait tonight with the crew and hit the beach, but not before giving this report to me. He was in a boat the past two nights in Joppa and got blues! They started the night near the top of the tide and it was fairly quiet until the turn when they started getting small bass using tube and worms. They switched over to eels about two hours after the tide to get into some bigger bass…..BHAM….Blues. Snappers to begin with, moved away from them and found bigger blues. They switched over to some soft baits so the blues would chew those up and not the eels!. Well, that is it tonight for me………the vodka tonic is calling!
