Surfland Bait and Tackle was founded in 1960. We’ve stocked great tackle for 48 years, customized to the area right outside our door. Walking into our place you’ll be stunned by the huge array of gear, and maybe a cow striper being weighed right as you enter.
We have all manner of rods, reels, flies, plugs, terminal tackle, tackle bags, custom rod parts and blanks, and an exceptionally large selection of fishing line in both mono and braid. We’re also happy to spool it up for you while you wait. And gossip about the fishing.
If we don’t have it, we can get it for you. We use the best suppliers including Merrick Tackle. Anything you see on their site we can get shipped right to your door. Take a look and then call us, It will be there before you know it. Kay, Martha, Liz, Mike and Billy will take good care of you.
Our bait is brought in fresh nearly every day. We sell clams suitable for your own consumption, not just the fish. When fresh bait is scarce we have lots of frozen as well. We’ll send you out with the best stuff. Eels, Herring, Clams, Mackerel, Sea Worms. Fish food, and we have it.
