That’s what time we woke up this morning for an outing in the mouth. It was pretty bumpy considering the outgoing high tide and brisk SE wind. Lots of whitecaps at the entrance. We fished north of the swell and got a few schoolie bass and bluefish. Witnessed a big gang of terns and gannetts about a mile offshore and went to investigate. Nice rolling schools of topwater fish. They were bombing around so it was hard to stay with them. A big shower showed up and the fishing stopped cold. Off the water by 9, soaking wet but grinning.
