Well looks like the weather is improving (some days) and soon the fish will be arriving.
Kay has alway said that the stripers arrive when the apple trees blossom,
and the shad arrive when then shad bush blossoms(like the ones in front of the Mass Audobon near us)
but, we also know that water temperature plays a big role too!!!
So, sorry to say we have not heard of any shad yet. We will let you know as soon as we do!!!
What we do know and have heard is that the party boats have started going out, but not today. The ocean is wild with a massive high tide today and for the next few days to come.
The boats from our area have not been seeing much but further south they have been producing.
