DECEMBER HOLIDAY HOURS
WEEKDAYS 10 am – 5 pm SATURDAY 8 am – 5 pm SUNDAY 8 am – 2 pm
Martha and I will be here these hours for your shopping enjoyment? Who likes shopping this time of year?……not me! Sure most of you are not a fan either. But here at Surfland we try to make it a pleasant one. Always try to get some new items in to keep our customers happy. This year we decided to do a calendar, not just any calendar. Kay’s favorite calendar! Sean, a customer of Surfland and a Kay Customer gave Kay this calendar every year. She loved it, always pulling it out from the back to show people the historic pictures that are in it. So in her honor we decided to make this a special one with our own little dedication to our parents. Come pick up one soon for the fisherman in your life!
Some new clothing items have hit the shelves and a few more arriving next week. Some heavy duty full zip sweatshirts, new sun shirts in case you know someone going on vacation, expanded kids corner, new Spirit Clothing, and a few more pieces.
And if you are old school, we got our hands on a few CD copies of James Waldron’s classic documentary
Reel People: Fishermen of Plum Island
The annual Tide Log is in stock, also decided to bring in the Captain’s log:
And what would the holidays be without a new piece of Surfland Swag? Thought this neoprene toiletry/cosmetic bag would be the perfect piece this year. Can think of many uses for this besides toiletries…….throw some lures in tubes in this and it is a quick pouch to grab on the fly. And speaking of fly, a nice little bag for the fly fisherman in your life. Can also be a Man Bag, keeping all of your important stuff safe. LOL. Or just simply a toiletry/cosmetic bag. Love these!
We are full of ideas so stop by and we can help you make someone’s holiday a merry one!
And as always, complimentary holiday gift bagging to make your life less stressful!
And YES! Kay’s pins are back in stock!!! (ever read the side of the pin????)
Hope to see you over the next two weeks, even just to pop in and say hi. Will definitely be a tough holiday season, but as you did this summer, you again will help Martha and I get through it.
With much love and gratitude,
One last thing, be extra nice to your delivery person this season. It is a stressful time for them…….show them some love like Kay did with our Ricco! Here they are sharing a moment during a past holiday season.
