August 18 – New Go-Pro footage from the weekend

Hot off the presses, here is a couple fish caught this past weekend (8/16-8/17). There are a lot of big, resident summer fish around if you know where to look. The night after we had all the rain last week (Wednesday night into Thursday morning) I landed 4 fish between 20-26lbs, and lost two more which were in a totally different size class. Fishing remained pretty good all week up until last night when it seemed like it slowed quite a bit. I have been getting a lot of questions from folks asking where on the island I have been catching fish. Well, almost all my fish the past couple months have not been caught on PI, but rather another beach right here on the North Shore of MA. Sorry but that’s all the information I can give….

Please, please practice C.P.R (Catch-Photo-Release)!

Enjoy!

unfortunately the other beach you need a resident permit to park at off hours so that leaves everyone out.

Not sure which beach you are thinking of RIP……The one I am fishing you DO need a parking permit for fishing after hours but you do NOT need to be a resident to get it.
