     To all who have called about our brown river. Newburyport has closed the beach on their end of the island due to the run offs coming down the river. The Newbury beach front and the Refuge is still open. You can fish it………………….I just probably wouldn’t pull an Augustus Gloop

    The Island is brown. I would advise going to the Salisbury side where it’s not as gross. Thank you to all the upriver sewage overflows.

    Fished the end of the refuge this AM from the SURF…fairly clean up there, but huge surf…tough fishing.
