17 Jul Jackie Brown…………….isn’t that a movie???
Jackie Brown from Dracut came into the shop with this fish yesterday. He, his father and 2 others were fishing from a boat during the outgoing tide in the Merrimac River using live mackerel when Jackie hooked into this 28-12 pounder. Excellent fish Jackie, hope you learned how to filet it!

Posted at 11:26h, 17 JulyNice fish! Jeff & myself, fished Jopps last night and the fish were heavy in there. Problem was that they are very finicky! There may be too much bait around. Got one fish around 40inches. Thing jumped clear out of the water like a blue! CRAZY! We both lost like 7 fish total cause they wouldn’t fully commit to biting the whole bait.
