If you know what you’re doing the bass are around. Low tide in the river has been good for the surfcasters, as evidenced by the last few day’s reports. And, it seems, the full tides at night are also doing well. Here are some photographs from Joe Brotz from the last week, no measurement of weight, all released.     Everyone know’s that Brotz is the eel master..and bass master ! There is Brotz and then there is everyone else.

    Rick… they are still there ( sort of.. swimming free).. put away the midgit lures, get some man sized baits (an 18″ long eel is about right)and fish under the cover of darkness…
