22 Jul July 22, Just past the new moon
While Monday night was a bust for many guys, and last night was just terrible weather with the wind and rain, tonight’s 12:30am high tide bodes well for a good night’s fishing trip. And with the weather significantly mellowed since yesterday expect it to be busy on Joppa. there have been some fish today on Joppa that were willing to take bait and lures. The Tube and Worm has been king, with some kayak guys reporting good catches on poppers too. There are also plenty of flounder just off the beach, some easy enough to cast to, especially around the south Jetty.
