Bluefish were around feeding on herring all day yesterday along the beachfront. They were very particular though, preferring the natural bait to anything else. Even if you got a popper right in the middle of a blitz it was ignored. Better luck when casting to either side of the school.

Stickman and Vermont Brian went out eeling last night. Got into the bass about midnight, an hour before high tide. The bite was strong until about 1:45 when they lost track of the school.
