Ok, so you’ve been reading the reports about how good the river is, and how dismal the beach has been (this depends on who you talk to, ask Sebastian.) Well we got some photos over the weekend and here they are. Nice fish and excited fishermen. Live macs are the go-to bait.

Sebastian from Ashland (that’s about 1.5 hours away) drove up to the island and was rewarded with this nice striper:

    FRIENDS DONT LET FRIENDS ANCHOR IN THE MOUTH. So many nice drifts from the breaker down and so many idiots achored in the way.. JUST DRIFT PEOPLE.. sorry not trying to stir it up.

    Went fishing in Joppa on Sunday the 12th and it was a nitemare with the wind and rain. There were like 7 boats out there. I didn’t see 1 fish caught. I hope wednesday is better!

    Fished the bottom of tide to the first hour of incoming from Captains, to outflow of Basin on Sunday. Decent topwater, spooks, sluggo, and small poppers. Fish were there, just had to work them. Did not see another hook up between boats and bait soakers. I was wading.
