A belated birthday shout to Liz, who’s big day was yesterday, and it was possibly not celebrated like it should be. Take her out for a vodka. Oh, and ask to see her tattoo.

Despite the fact that we just weighed in a 26lb. striper, the report from last night and today is slim. Not much happening in the river. Mike Nixon says he saw lots of fish on he flats but couldn’t get them to take anything at dusk. Nate said beach fishing before light was great last night, but soon as the glow came over the horizon everything shut down..

There have been a few flounder taken off Lot One in the Reserve, and a few bass too, but nothing to get excited about. So come on out but don’t get your hopes up. Perhaps the rumored rain tonight will turn things back on.
