A lucky boat fisherman grabbed a 34″ bass and a 20″ bass in successive casts this morning at Joppa Flats. On the way into work today I noticed John Liss wading the edge of the the channel out there. Haven’t heard a report. Must still be a little chilly chest deep in the river. I also saw a kayaker contemplating a launch at the Water Street ramp. Just about time for the paddle armada to cruise the shallows
The point by the jetty has been full of schoolies, and the beachfront as well. Just gotta work it for a few hours to find the fish.
Here’s a nice vintage pic to spice up your day. A 48 pounder from August 2, 1962. One of the first pics in the library. Come on in and ask Kay about Leo in this photograph.
