16 May May 16 – Report
Well Sunday morning at daybreak and before seemed to be the best time to fish for the morning outcome. Billy Page sent us these pictures with this to comment:
“18 fish on the incoming. 1 keeper 29 or 30 inches. Multiple doubles with metal and a teaser.”
The afternoon picked up again though. Jeff and Haley along with her cousin came back to fish and each of the girls got a fish. Then, the early evening picked up. Zach, Mad, Ed and Steve hit the front beach about 5:30. Everyone got fish! The fish ranged in sizes of 12 – 20″. Again, buck-tail jigs and soft-baits were the go to lures.
Today, I cant say much. The wind has been howling since last night and it has been a cold day here on the island. The shop has been quiet, so when the wind dies down tomorrow we will see how the fishing picks up again.
