May 23, Nice day for Fishing

Kind of drizzly out this morning, but it’s a great day to be out. The lack of sun today should make the fish a little less skittish. But of course you’ve seen there are some good fish being taken. We like to post catch and release fish too, so if you have some, email them to me stickman@surflandbt.com and I’ll get them posted when I can. Here’s a few from the today and the weekend:

.

Chris Battis sends us two: Today on Joppa about 5:30am using a sluggo, and from a few days ago, also sluggo. These are guided trips by Jack Charters. Take a look at their site, clearly know how to catch fish. http://www.jackcharters.com/

Scott Delback writes: Got this on the outgoing tide yesterday morning, 31″ the fish were hitting, lots of short hits but we got 3 to the boat, released to hopefully become 40″

Mark Holey sent this last week, with a short report: 6 fish total for me 1 for my brother….all caught on the sassy shad and jighead. Small guys but finally caught em. They were caught about 2 hours before low.  Funny thing is while I was in the water my brother just finished baiting clams as I heard him shouting profanities I looked back and saw a seagull flying with the whole brand new bag of clams toward the sailsbury side.

This one from Vick Lam: 30 inch at night in the boat of deer island, Bobby A.
