Boy is it hot out there! We’ve seen some good action the last few days from the surf, both during low tide in the river and incoming tide out along the oceanfront. Hopefully the fishing stay hot like the weather. Here are a few pictures from the last few days.
5/29 Here is Chris Faxon from Bradford, MA who was wearing his new Nate shirt for luck when he caught this 13 pounder on clams with 3 hours to go to low tide. Right smack in the middle of the tides. Well, that puts all theories about fishing low and high tide only!
5/29 Richard Celi from Burlington, MA caught his 12-4 pounder using bait along the surf down the river
5/30 Debbie Fichera from Plum Island was using mackerel to land her 12-8 pounder at low tide in the mouth of Merrimac.
5/30 Donald Martineau from Tewskbury, MA was fishing the low tide in the river and caught this 12-12 pounder on clams.
5/31 Steve Peabody caught his 12-8 and 14-8 pounders from his boat using mackerel
5/31 Gerry Ernstrom caught this 14-12 from the surf down the river on clams
5/31 Jan Kevlik from Litchfield, NH caught his 12-8 pounder on an SP Minnow
