06 May May 6, They’re trickling in
The weekend was kinda slow. The only reliable report we got was of some small striper schoolies landed in the Parker River, up by the Route 1 bridge.
We’ve got a few reports from Boston Harbor from last week. Bass were chasing mackerel around the outer harbor. It’s usually only a few days to a week after Boston gets them till they end up around here.
According to some of the stuff I’ve read lately, there are even some stripers on the south side of Cape Ann. Otherwise it’s kind of quiet.
We have had a spirited conversation on our Discussion Board though. Folks discussing the new beachfront structure, debating the best five lures, impatient fishermen, etc. Check out the board if you haven’t already.
