Merrimack Cleanups with River Stewards of New England. Saturday April 13, 8am.

Merrimack Cleanups with River Stewards of New England. Saturday April 13, 8am.

Please join the River Stewards of the New England for their annual cleanup of Ferry Park. This is a popular spot to fish, and is commonly referred to as “Rocks Village” by anglers. This event provides a great opportunity to network, pick up local knowledge, and (of course) provide some stewardship to the Merrimack River.

Contractor bags will be provided. Please bring a pair of work gloves if you have them. Anglers are encouraged to bring waders for picking up trash at the water’s edge.

Please consider attending a cleanup or two this spring with your fellow anglers. These events provide great opportunities to network, pick up local knowledge, and (of course) provide some stewardship to the Merrimack River.
