30 May Monday, May 30th………………….end of the weekend
And the winners of the RonZ Raffle are: Matt (Golden Child #2, don’t ask…) Gonet, and Brendan Wallace.
Here is one of Plum Island’s summer residents, Nathan Master pulling the lucky winners
Thank you to all that bought a chance! With your help, $151.00 (the last $5 put in by Nathan’s dad, Dan, but Nathan didn’t pull his name!!!) was raised. This money will go towards a day of therapy at Journey Forward in Canton, MA. This is where Nate is receiving some aggressive rehab in his quest to go above and beyond what the doctors first thought. He has already surpassed their expectaions and is continuing to surprise all. THANK YOU ALL!!!
Also a note about Nate’s Tees! Your response has be overwhelming. We had originally ordered mens, womens, and youth tees. The womens and youth tees have been going great, the mens……………..through the roof!!! We ordered 8 dozen in the mens, received all the tees 10 days ago, and we have already sold out of some. WOW. Thanks!!! More are being ordered in the morning. A few new colors will be added and we will let you know when the new batch has arrived. Not only have are you supporting a great cause, but you are getting a really cool tee!!! The sketch is amazing!!!
Well it is the end of a beautiful holiday weekend. Today we didn’t see as many fish, but there were still a lot of happy people. Just being outside on the beach, relaxing and enjoying some time off is enough for some. We did weigh in 2 fish today.
The Rennie boys got their fair share this weekend. Mark yesterday and today Mike Rennie caught this nice dinner size fish using bait from the shore down in the river (sounds like a poem). It weighed in at 8-12 lbs.
Then just a few hours ago Chris Hazzard, Jr. visiting us from Gloversville, NY arrived with his catch of the weekend. Chris has been here all weekend but had yet to catch a “keeper”. Well, Kay in all her wisdom sent them to the oceanfront for the incoming tide. They went out at the center (just up from the shop), threw some clams in, and Chris caught this 8-6 lb. striper. Congratulations Chris………………something to show everyone at home!!!
