Msy 24…..fog rolling in

SUMMER HOURS

MONDAY – FRIDAY                              6 AM – 9 PM

WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS                 5 AM – 9 PM

Starting May 25  we will be on our summer hours. Hope to see you all this holiday weekend!

This mornig’s low tide had fish there, but the catching was slow. Bait guys did better than the lure fishermen. Local Plum Island resident Deb Fichera (pictured below) was out in the boat today and picked up two fish (10.5 & 11.5lbs.) while drifting mackerel during the outgoing tide inside the river.  The Kelly Boys were down today but left without coming in to give us a report. Shame on them!!!Haven’t received much other news today except the fog has rolled in tonight , it has turned a bit raw and we have an east wind picking up.  Could bring in some good fish! But, maybe some weed too.

Andy was down with a few guests. Got into stripers as the tide really started coming in. Fish were the typical 8-12 lbers with lots of schoolies mixed in and yes a flounder,,,hopefully a sign of more to come…a great day had by all.

Winds from the East, fish bite least. Winds from the West, fish bite best. Slow bite and weeds on every plug cast is what we’re probably gonna see. Bummer.
