November 1 – They’re still poppin!

Marcelo sent us today’s update, “Seasons not over yet guys. Got a half dozen or so during the switch today at 1 at lot 6. Nothing of size, all schoolies around 20′. It was hot about an hour before high and an hour after…died down really quickly after that. But the storm didn’t finish us off yet! Just wanted to fill you in on today’s action. Picked up half a dozen schoolies during the switch today. Nothing to write home about in terms of size but they’re still there. All but one caught on worms. The other was a Mac popper.”

Hey the striper’s may be gone, and the albies came & went (by the way check the new movie coming out this winter)
BUT there are steelhead in Pulaski… Get out there! The fishing up there can be awesome, and its what you make of it that can shape your experience. I didn’t think I would like the “fake steelhead” in NY after coming back from 10 yrs in Oregon… But I checked it out last december and couldn’t believe the numbers of fish on that river… I never knew I could find Chromers 5 hrs away. Check it out! and give those stripers a break : )
