Even though the Parker River Wildlife Refuge beach is closed for the present time, there is more than that for beachfront fishing area. And like we have posted the past few weeks, Craig from Surfland and his family members have been walking the beach from near parking lot 1 north to the center. And, here is some proof: Here is Ben Aham from yesterday afternoon. He and dad walked the beach and Ben caught this fish right next to the rocks out front of them (they live near the refuge!). Bass assassin and a 1/2 ounce white Billy Page jig head! Way to go little fisherman!!! So, get your light tackle out again and do some walking and casting. The beach doesn’t stop or start at the gate!!!!
