Project: Dredge, Oct. 14th

Well the center is complete. The sand is piled high, very high, slightly above the parking lot. These pictures are taken from the edge of the lot due to the fact that I couldn’t get onto the beach because they have it roped off. The rocks are half way covered also. They seemed to be doing some more work down towards the area they first started, near the base of the sandbar where it touched land last year. By the way, it also looks like it is nearly touching again. it seems to have built back up.

We also have NECN’s news truck up there. We were told they are only here for a few hours. Probably just to get some before shots and then if we have a decent Nor’Easter, maybe they will be back to see if any damage was done. ??? Who knows.  We only have an 8 foot tide tonight, so probaly no biggie.
