Rocks Village Annual Cleanup

Rocks Village Annual Cleanup

Hello Gang,
This is the message from the Plum Island Surfcasters Julio Silva about this weekend’s event. It’s great fun and is pretty much the official kick-off of the season for the river.

Hello Friend,

I hope you are well and that you have been able to get out and wet a line for trout, bass, or carp. I am writing because we are having our annual Rocks Village Clean Up this weekend.

Rocks Village is a picturesque bend on the Merrimack River that naturally collects plastic and other floating debris from cities upstream. With your help, we can quickly remove the rubbish from this area.

In fact, this is a great early spring spot for American Shad! If you would like to learn about the spot or shad fishing in general, come and meet local anglers while performing a valuable community service.
