Rocks Village Cleanup Saturday April 18, 8AM

Anglers are getting together to clean up Rocks Village (Ferry Park) in West Newbury on Saturday, 4/18/26 at 8am.

Rocks Village is a beautiful shad spot just upstream of Rocks Bridge on river-right. The park sits alongside a large bend of the tidal Merrimack which unfortunately collects a lot of plastic at the high tide line.

Contractor bags and some trash-pickers will be provided. Work gloves and a pocket knife to cut line, etc are recommended. Low tide is at 8:30 that morning so waders won’t be necessary this year. The trash we collect is picked up by the town.

This cleanup usually takes less than an hour.
