08 Sep SEPT 8 – A Blustery Day
Wow, what a northwest breeze out there today!
Okay, on Friday we had another fisherwoman who brought in her first fish ever. April Robbins from Manchester NH fished Lot 3 on the PRWR(Parker River Wildlife Refuge). She was using clams and got this 9 pounder 2 hours into the afternoon outgoing tide. Great to see some more women taking up the sport! Congrats April
Also got a text Friday from Paul S.
“Hey Liz, Paul Szostak here…Glad you guys had fun busting on me……that was funny!!!! Caught schoolies at lot 2 incoming this am….27 1/2 the biggest. lot 1 in the am!!!”
I don’t know what Paul did Saturday but got this email from John this morning just before noon:
Hi Liz, another nice 31 inch fish caught and released on the incoming tide this morning with Kays famous worms! Photo by Paul S.! Thanks John McQuade.
Other news that we have received over the weekend are things like this:
~Saturday night on the PRWR lot 1, good fish at low tide on bloodworms
~Dave P came down Thursday and fished the PRWR Thursday and Friday. He caught a lot of fish. A 40″ and some in the low 30’s
~Call in today to report small bass and one (1) bluefish on surface plugs at Sandy Point
~Ed and Andy Kelly (Tommy home sick 🙁 ) reported small fish today from their day on the PRWR
~Others have reported getting nothing, nada, zilch! So, if you are in the right spot at the right time, you got it made. That’s why they call it fishing!
Enjoy the breeze and see you soon……
