We have all the weed you want. Yup, the beachfront is loaded with weed after two days of NE blow. Coach George Bossy made a pronouncement today, “find a spot where there’s no weed and you’ll catch bluefish.” Apparently he is correct, as he found his spot and caught a few choppers early this morning. That’s the only report we’ve had so far today. The ocean is still kind of riled up from the wind, and not too many boats have reported in.

You know Mackerel our cat? That big furry Maine Coon that chases flies and hopefully mice? Well Mackerel has become a little celebrity at the shop, and so deserves a t-shirt. Yup, you can come in and get your very own bright orange Mackerel shirt in all sizes. I must say that both times I wore mine fishing I had big days, two 40″ fish and one 46″. Must be coincidence, but now I wear it every time I go eeling.
