Shad fishing has begun. We are starting to hear of a few shad being taken in the Rocks Village area. Eric  Roach called the shop on Friday to let us know that he caught 1.  We heard of 2 caught the day before.  Eric and Marcus Chase and several others worked on cutting up the tree that was on the boat ramp and removing it.   We thank them all for that!!  However, Eric did call afterwards and said that the boat ramp is in very bad condition and feels that it is unusable for boats on trailers.  He said that the ramp is broken up and very deep at the end.  Please be careful!!
