04 Jun TEDDY- STORY OF A LOCAL ISLAND BOY
TEDDY HORWATH—
Local Plum Island Boy, Teddy this past Sunday went with the family on a fishing trip out of Groton, CT aboard the Helen III with Captain Preston. They headed out to the race. Started catching snapper bluefish and schoolies with one “keeper” sized fish by bouncing bucktails off the bottom. This action was pretty consistent for better part of the day. Late in the day they switched over to trolling larger bucktails with porkrind. Four more keepers and then this big boy! He measured 51 1/2 “ in length and 29 1/2 “ in girth. By calculations this fish would of weighed in at 56-62lbs. Everyone went home with some big fillets. Congrats Teddy!!!
Here are the pictures……….love the instagram effect…………looks vintage. But, the sweatshirt takes the cake! Looking good Teddy
