Thursday was a bust, Friday “singing the blues”

Thursday seemed to be a bit of a bust for a lot of the fishermen. Seems the skate have moved in. Isn’t that correct Jamie? Toby didn’t have any good news to report this morning from his night of fishing, But today, Friday the 24th we had a few of the fishermen singing the blues, bluefish that is!. Skip, again ran into 4-6 pound blues along the oceanfront early this am.  As the other day they were caught on topwater lures.  Toby, I hope you found them after you left here and headed to the oceanfront! Today the “buggies” are arriving, the beach is again open for drive-on,  and the weekend is supposed to be nice, so lets hope the fish cooperate.  Good luck!

My report: 2 skate this afternoon high to low. I counted 20 rods in a short section of beach but no rod twitching.
