15 Aug Wednesday-August 15- Fish!
Just got a phone call from Eric Roach who fished the Merrimac River this am. He and another fishermen hit the south jetty for the low tide and were well rewarded. They got a lot of small bass, had a good sized one on but lost it in the rocks and then some bluefish showed up. He said it was a good morning. So hopefully our summer slump is over and the fishing will commence again with some regularity. We have some good morning low tides over the next few days. Worth a try!
