Adam, Noah and Cindi Ledger came up to Plum Island this past Sunday and Monday for some vacation time and introduce mom, Cindi to the island. Made for a couple of fun days. Welcome to the island Cindi!
Adam sent us in this report:
“We fished lot 3 both days & got into double digits both days with schoolies! Also caught a few skates & 1 female Lobster (yes it was released). We also brought my Mother Cindi Leger from Ashburnham Ma up to see Plum Island for the 1st time! She looooved it!!! Noah had a blast showing her how to “catch stripers” …. c-ya soon!”
Adam & Noah!
We have tons of schoolies in the area. Everyone seems to be catching the small fish up and down the coastline. This is a picture we got from Warren Perry. Warren took his granddaughter Megan fishing Friday at Hampton beach. He taught her how to cast and she caught some schoolies on small bass assassin’s. This is a great photo of Megan. What a catch!
Also received these photos and note from Sarah Wills:
Thanks Sarah, appreciate the nice comments. We all had a good time chatting and hearing about your fishing adventures! (Love the SBT Gear!)
We had a few weigh-ins this past week also:
8/26 Aaron Quinlan, 34 -12 pounds caught along the oceanfront during the night tides. Why are you fighting the crowds at the canal??? We have big fish here!
8/25 Jim Moineau caught this 16-3 pounder from a boat trolling a Rapala X-Rap.
8/29 Yesterday Tai W. from Amesbury caught this 9-4 pounder from the surf at the mouth of the Merrimac River. He used fresh mackerel at the end of the outgoing tide.
